Christmas in Vienna

Posted 1 year ago by nikon in response to stafford's question: I long to see Vienna during Christmas time...Can anybody describe it for me? (give a different answer) .

First of all, it's barely breathing under the coat of snow...The midnight mass is hold at St. Stephen's, and the Boy Choir trills the most beautiful "Silent Night" ever heard. At the City Hall, there's an enormous Christkindlmarkt, with thousands of kiosks selling scented candles, fur tree bulbs, pies, everything proper for the holidays. The city is dipped in lights, filled with decorations as a wedding cake. For New Year's Eve can stride to the extravagant Kaiserball at Hofburg.
